General Ledger and Tax Accountant

To support our finance team in Izmir, we are looking to recruit an General Ledger and Tax Accountant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Economics, Business administration or related field
• Min. 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting and tax positions
• Proficiency in MS Office skills (especially in Excel)
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Analytical, detailed and Team-orientated
• Fluent in English

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Completion of monthly, quarterly, year-end closings in a timely and accurate manner
• Proper preparation and on-time delivery of statutory and group financial statements
• Provide reporting packages for group consolidation
• Responsible to prepare the monthly tax declarations (CIT, VAT, WHT)
• Conduct fixed assets transactions and review fixed assets sub ledger
• Support statutory audit process (provide data and reply to auditor questions)
• Periodic execution of e-ledger activities
• Follow-up changes in local legislation and adaptation into the Company's systems
• Contract person for HQ in Germany and local entities for accounting and taxation matters
• Other duties as assigned
