To support our team in Izmir(preferrable) or Istanbul, we are looking to recruit an Senior HSE specialist.

This position reports directly to the Regional HSE Director.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years’ Experience in HSE
  • Engineering Degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English & Turkish)
  • Strong knowledge of HSE principles and regulations
  • Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency with MS Office Programs (Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Must work well in a team atmosphere and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to prioritize, and work to deadlines without supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a relationship builder
  • NEBOSH Certificate (Preferable)
  • Experience with 45001 Management system (Preferable)
  • Driving Licence – B class
  • Ability to travel (National-International)
  • Ability for reporting & presentation
  • Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of external HSE team.
  • Develop a management system for health, safety and environmental control, meeting the requirements of relevant guidance and/or ISO standards.
  • Facilitate internal and external auditing as per divisional audit schedule and ensure tracking and close of remedial action
  • Coordinate near miss, incident & accident investigations, lead investigations and ensure tracking
  • Record incidents, accidents and near misses, ensuring interim and corrective actions are put in place and lessons learnt are communicated.
  • Work together with Global HSE and implement Global procedures & standards to the region.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Advice, guide, support, promote awareness and coach all personnel with the implementation of the company's policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate inspections of project and service operations and carry out "walk throughs” monthly with site management of related division.
