Supplier Quality Development Specialist

Tasks:

- Assure new supplier qualifications are part of category strategy
- Guide supply base through SQ phase gates Pre-Qualifications (PG 1) and Pre-Assessment (PG 2)
- Guide supply base through CQ phase gates APQP & PPAP (PG 3), Capa & Load Assessment (PG 4), 0-Series Approval (PG 5)
- Guide supply base through SI phase gates 1st Re-Audit (PG 6), Continuous Improvement Plans (PG 7), structured Phase out (PG 8)
- Assure phase gate passing happens according to planning
- Assure ECO implementation at suppliers production
- Conduct KPI assessments and improvement (eg Quality incidents / OTD / OTIF / Supplier Ratings etc)
- Assure defects closure / sustainable improvement

Authorities/responsibilities :

- Business Hold recommendations
- Veto on sourcing recommendations with clear under- / non- performance indications of respective suppliers
- Passing of phase gates
- Responsible for guiding supply base through EC gradle2grave approach for specified Category in specified Region
- Responsible for improving quality of current and future supply base in phases: Supplier Qualification (SQ) / Component Qualification (CQ) / Serial Improvement (SI)
- Responsible for assuring / meeting / uploading phase gate requirements / documentations
