Configuration Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Develop, create, and maintain product line, eBOM, mBOM, BOP & BOE configurations across the product lifecycle using Siemens Teamcenter
• Provide dedicated support for end users, identifying and resolving common and complex issues linked with a variety of product configurations
• Act as part of interdisciplinary teams to synthesize strategic planning for product variant structure, considering various sales and technical characteristics, features and constraints
• Participate within our digital PLM transformation program to heighten standards for configuration lifecycle requirements
• Assist the Teamcenter Module Owner by planning and implementing enhancements for the product configurator tool
• Champion and standardize product configuration practices across all tiers of the configuration lifecycle, whilst collaborating with a range of stakeholders
• Oversee adherence to the Configuration Management process, ensuring correct implementation of procedures across all relevant business units and departments
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, regularly evaluating Configuration Management processes for potential improvements and enhancements

Your Qualifications

• Possess a technical degree such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, design or product development, or an equivalent qualification with noteworthy professional experience in the relevant area of responsibility
• Ideally certified in Configuration Management with knowledge of configuration management standards (CM2, ISO10007, EIA-649 etc.) and methodologies
• Showcase a robust knowledge of PLM and CAD systems, with a preference for those well-versed in Siemens Teamcenter & NX
• Boast a foundational understanding of SAP MM, PS, PP & LO-VC
• Display excellent communication skills in English and German, bonus points for Spanish proficiency
• Demonstrate a strong analytical skill set with the ability to think end-to-end including the ability to perform detailed audits and report on configuration discrepancies
• Exhibit team orientation with an aptitude for rapid networking, fostering cross-functional relationships within a globally dispersed organization
