Engineer Product Safety & Standards Design (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Preparation of risk assessments in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and DIN EN ISO 12100:2010
  • Evaluation, further development and optimisation of safety requirements in relation to the design of wind turbines during development
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements according to the TOP principle (Technical, Organisational, Personal)
  • Consultation with the technical departments on solutions to minimise risks
  • Preparation and review of product documentation with regard to compliance with the state of the art
  • Checking the completeness and consistency of the legally required documentation


Your Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or comparable with relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 12100 (risk assessment)
  • Solid understanding of general technical concepts
  • Strong assertiveness with a focus on goals and solutions
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in technical and business English
  • Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (OHSS) with knowledge of IEC 60204 is an advantage
