Functional Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Calculation of "Safety Integrity Level" (SIL) and Performance Level (PL)
  • Consultation with technical departments regarding technical solutions
  • Preparation of documentation for functional safety
  • Review of the implementation of safety functions (hardware and software)
  • Evaluation of hardware and software solutions according to provisions of functional safety
  • Consultation with external experts and authorities


Your Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science or comparable with relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and ISO 12100 (risk assessment)
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems paired with a solid understanding of general technical concepts
  • Strong assertiveness with a focus on goals and solutions
  • Exellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in technical and business English
  • Functional Safety Engineer according to ISO 13849 is an advantage
