Manager - New Product Development (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the 'Advanced Procurement Engineering' Team.

• Interface for R&D, Procurement, Production and other functional divisions on a managerial level.

• Responsible for all “Early Procurement Involvement” activities within Product Development Projects & Technology Projects.

• Responsible for supplier strategy implementation, supplier innovation, material cost calculation, cost improvement and target cost achievement as part of the ‘Product Development Process’ deliverables.

• Manage, control and organize the work and tasks within the team in line with agreed targets defined by upper management and head of department.

• Ensure constant review of contents of team deliverables and develop strategies for positioning the team within the cross functional environment.

• Ensure optimum allocation of resources & continuous improvement in terms of technical, personnel and structural aspects.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Project or Industrial Engineering
• Several years of profound Project Management Experience
• Relevant experience in the fields of project management, design engineering, procurement engineering
• Organized and disciplined combined with analytical skills
• Assertive in achieving deadlines, driving the team and securing deliverables
• Result-oriented and independent style of work
• Min of 5 year experience in disciplinary leadership
• Experience in the wind industry is considered as an advantage
