Material Scientist Expert (m/f/d)

Hybrid (< 50% remote)
Your Tasks:
- Management of material development projects
- Assessment of materials, technologies and products
- Validation of test procedures
- Planning, coordination and evaluation of material tests
- Creation/maintenance of material specifications
- Crossfunctional communication in a matrix organization
Your Qualifications:
- Degree: PhD or Master in Mechanical Engineering with focus on material science/ composite materials/ reiinforced plastics
- Detailed knowledge in composite material characterization, especially fiber reinforced plastics
- Project management skills are advantageous
- Experience in specification of fiber reinforced plastics and its components
- Experience in regards of sandwich material properties
- Knowledge in composite material testing
- Creation of specifications/reports/documents with high standards
- Experience in rotor blade design/ production advantageous
- Experience in assessment of technologies/ material/ supplier advantageous
- Good communication skills in english and german
