Your Tasks

  • Project Leadership of Simulation Engineering team members
  • Planning and Coordination of work packages of Load Simulation Engineering team projects and tasks
  • Coordinate with Project Leaders of PG-1 / PG-2 / PG-3 and IM Cluster and assure accurate resource and budget planning in planning tools
  • Identify and develop industry leading methods and processes for loads simulation execution, stay in line with latest guideline requirements and standards
  • Take active role in guideline work and maintenance committees desired
  • Align with Team Leads within Turbine Engineering and Leaders of adjacent teams with Load Simulation scope on simulation tools development needs and maintenance
  • Develop, maintain and execute strategic plan on continuous load simulation environment enhancements
  • Define Requirements and scope of work for tool development done within and outside the team
  • Partner and align with simulation tools developments in adjacent teams such as IM Cluster and Sales project Engineering
  • Communicate progress on project tasks to Department lead Loads & Controls and Turbine Engineering section leader, ensure project closure within expected timeline
  • Act as point of contact for Load Simulation Engineering questions

 

Your Qualifications

  • Master's, Bachelor's or Diploma degree (FH) in the fields of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, renewable energies or comparable
  • At least 10+ years of experience as an engineer in wind simulation technology
  • At least 5+ years of leadership experience in projects or as a team leader
  • Proven knowledge and multiple years of experts’ experience with wind simulation tools such as BLADED, Flex5, SimPack or similar tools
  • Detailed knowledge of certification guidelines for wind turbines
