Senior Engineer - PLM

Your tasks:

• Analyses and reports modularisation:
• Continuously compares contents of DS to identify interchangeability (incl. visualisation)
• Reports opportunities for interchangeability to GSI lead
• Conducts clash detection (visualisation & analysis)
• Participates to NX / TC release testing to secure GSI related functionalities
• Creates DS in TC based on given predefined product structure
• Creation of Interface files
• Supports PLM governance team with product configurator updates
• Supports PSA  in applying variant conditions to BOM:
  • Retrieves variant conditions from configuration manager and applies them to BOM (150% - for part structure & 120% - for visualisation)
     

Your qualifications:

• Technical study, or alternative work as technician in this field with extended experience
• Experience in creating and cutting functional units/modules (design solutions) and creating modular product structures
• Knowledge of CAD and Siemens Team Center (NX) required
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Good knowledge in using standard PC tools (Microsoft Office) combined with English and German language skills at a high level
• Team-oriented personality with good moderation skills and the will to move things forward
