ENERCON are now recruiting for an Electrical Wind Turbine Technician to be based in Collooney, County Sligo. 

As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines.
  • Responsible for a variety of state of the art electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
  • Fault finding and reporting on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhering to Wind Turbine Safety rule and guidelines, completing all the required documentation and reporting.
  • Working to the highest safety and environmental standards.
  • Responsible for completing all computerised documentation.
  • Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved (Rotation).

 

 

Job requirements

  • You are a qualified Electrician or have completed a level 7 Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • Living less than 30 minutes’ drive from base location.
  • Good Level of personal fitness and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester step test).
  • Full Irish B Driving Licence.
  • Valid Safe Pass Card.
  • Flexibility and high mobility required - willingness to travel to meet the companies' requirements.
