HR Business Partner - Wind Energy

We have a new opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our dedicated HR team in Edinburgh. The role will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12-months, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent in the future. 

 

The main purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of generalist HR expertise and support to local business leaders and employees across GB. 

This role is a strategic position within ENERCON, playing a key part in shaping and implementing HR strategies, promoting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR legislation across the country. 

 

Your main roles and responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the Head of HR, senior managers and regional leaders to help shape and influence HR strategies
  • Assess data and metrics to provide insight on HR trends, challenges and best practices to drive organisational success
  • Act as a trusted advisor within GB to provide wide-ranging guidance on people matters to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with local managers and the Resourcing Partner to identify workforce requirements and develop talent management and succession strategies.
  • Act as a point of contact for complex employee relations cases and provide guidance to managers to resolve employee-related matters
  • Implement and promote employee engagement initiatives, Company policies, compensation packages, and foster a positive work culture
  • Oversee performance management processes and coach managers on performance-related matters to improve productivity and development
  • Identify countrywide training needs and collaborate with the Head of HR to design and deliver effective training programs.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UK Employment Law and regulations.

 

Qualifications and key qualities that we look for:

 

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources or similar field
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is advantageous
  • Several years’ experience in a progressive HR role, including HR business partnering across multiple sites
  • A willingness to travel frequently throughout Great Britain
  • A strong understanding of UK Employment Law
  • Global mobility experience is desirable
  • Ability to align HR Strategies with business needs
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex HR issues
  • Proficient in collating and analysing data to solve problems and draw conclusions for decision making
  • A positive attitude towards change initiatives
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
