ENERCON Services Belgium is currently looking for a Grid Operations Coordinator to provide real-time technical support to wind turbine maintenance and commissioning technicians. The goal is to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of interventions on ENERCON's high-voltage (HV) switching equipment. The role also involves participating in procedure reviews and continuous improvement projects.

 

Main Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • General
    • Promote the continuous improvement;
    • Set up a relationship with internal customer/provider;
    • Provide technical and logistical support;
    • Have a efficient communication towards the persons concerned (Service Dispatch, Management, PM, Sales, Clients, Warehouse, Customer Relations, HR, ...);
    • Be aware of the ENERCON laws and regulations/local laws related to the wind activity, ensure that they are properly applied and understood by the teams;
    • Support the teams in carrying out their work;
    • Carry out and ensure the regular control of the “quality and safety” procedures for the work carried out by the technical teams;
    • Give reports and make suggestions to users about procedures, tools,…
    • All other duties including participation of shifts and on calls as required by line manager
  • Grid operations
    • Follow up and plan all necessary GO activities
    • Contribute in changing the reactive GO department into a proactive GO department
      • Sparepart strategy, switching letters
    • Be the point of contact for clients, subcontractors and other parties concerning switching operations in the turbines
  • HV safety
  • Train technicians
  • Give TBM
  • Evaluate switching capacities

 

Qualifications and Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor in industrial engineering or equivalent by experience
  • Experience: + 3 years of experience with ENERCON wind turbines ; +3 years experience with MV/HV installations
  • Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of electricity and mechanics; both theoretical and practical
  • Interpersonal Skills: Team management, organized, communicative, good negotiator, stress resistant, flexible, clients and results oriented, sense of responsibilities, autonomy, leadership, assertive, problem solving
  • Languages: good professional knowledge of English, and very good knowledge of French or Dutch (knowledge of both is an asset).
