We are actively seeking a Site Manager to guide our dedicated team of wind turbine maintenance technicians at our service site in Lethbridge, Alberta.


In your role as Site Manager, you will hold a pivotal position in overseeing the maintenance service site for our 84-turbine wind farm. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of ten highly skilled wind turbine maintenance technicians, ensuring the delivery of service excellence, and fostering a strong and collaborative relationship with our site owner customer.




  • Ensure strict compliance with ENERCON standards, policies, and our health and safety program.
  • Act as ENERCON's trusted representative on site, overseeing visitor and subcontractor personnel.
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of all site activities, including maintaining a safe work environment, troubleshooting, and supervising turbine technicians.
  • Effectively manage site employees, including performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, overtime approval, and scheduling for high wind days, overtime, and on-call weekends.
  • Coordinate the weekly work plan and long-range labor strategy to optimize operations.
  • Ensure the achievement of wind farm performance goals and diligently monitor the site budget.
  • Maintain performance indicator reports, tracking the status of wind turbines on-site and ensuring compliance with the contractual agreement with the customer.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of special projects to enhance wind turbine maintenance operations.
  • Exercise control over inventory and procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain the service fleet inventory and oversee vehicle maintenance.
  • Manage all communications with management, residents, and community stakeholders.




  • Post-secondary diploma in the electrical or electromechanical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a technical team, including at least 3 years in field operations management.
  • Electrical or mechanical experience is essential.
  • Possess an analytical and technical mindset.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in wind turbine maintenance is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in wind farm management tools (e.g., SCADA, ClickSchedule, MAM, SAP) is advantageous.
