Head of Logistics (m/w/d)

Your tasks and duties:
- Manage, control and organize the work on site of the Logistic Coordinators, Logistic Managers and Team Lead Logistic Coordinators in the region, in line with the agreed targets
- Disciplinary and functional management of the Logistic Coordinators, Logistic Manager and Team Lead Logistic Coordinators
- Ensure and promote the HSE-culture on the construction sites in the region
- Responsible for Logistic Coordination works and ensure completion of inland transportation on construction sites in accordance with costs budget, quality, timeline and all safety standards
- Responsible for optimal allocation of Logistic Coordinators in the projects
- Assign the Logistic Coordinators to the project sites and Logistic Managers to the projects in agreement with the PM-Director
- Supervision of Logistics Coordinators and Logistic Managers as well ensure that required trainings and technical knowledge are implemented – personal development of the team
- Technical support for Logistic Coordinators and Logistic Manager in cooperation with Global Logistics
- Coordination of required work equipment for Logistic Coordinators and Logistic Managers
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics operations management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing large-scale logistics operations
- Working knowledge of supply chain management
- Ability to develop and implement logistics strategies to meet business objectives
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
- Excellent German and English language skills
