Position Type: Full-time, permanent 

 

We are seeking an experienced Rotor Blade Coordinator to lead and oversee ENERCON’s Canadian Blade Repair Service Team. This role focuses primarily on leadership, coordination, and operational planning, with occasional travel for site visits, audits, and alignment with field activities. Periodic travel to our Montréal office and to ENERCON’s headquarters in Germany will also be required. In this position, you will work closely with ENERCON rotor blade technicians, Independent Service Providers (ISPs), and technical support specialists to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of blade repair operations.

 

Key responsibilities:

Team leadership

  • Directly manage a team of 7 ENERCON Rotor Blade Technicians.
  • Provide daily operational guidance, communication, and support.
  • Lead HSE incident investigations and support corrective action processes.
  • Monitor team objectives, workload balance and performance metrics.

Contractor (ISP) oversight

  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of approximately 45 contract Blade Technicians through Independent Service Providers (ISPs).
  • Ensure contractor activities remain on budget, on schedule, and aligned with project priorities.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for ISPs and internal stakeholders.
  • Allocate work packages based on geography, deadlines, and operational needs.

Project and budget management

  • Contribute to annual workload planning and prioritization.
  • Support development and ongoing monitoring of annual budgets.
  • Track project financials, ensuring cost control, forecasting accuracy, and alignment with planned targets.

Collaboration with rotor blade technical support

  • Assist Technical Support in analyzing and prioritizing rotor blade repair needs.
  • Communicate resource requirements and project schedules to internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to improvements in documentation, processes, and training materials.
  • Support the standardization of solutions for recurring technical issues.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Post secondary diploma in related technical fields.
  • Experience in rotor blade repair, composite/fiberglass work, wind operations, or related technical fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, workforce planning, or team leadership roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong ownership of responsibilities.
  • Ability to track, interpret, and report on budget and project performance.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
  • SPRAT Level 3 certification is an asset (or strong rope access familiarity).
  • Strong safety mindset, analytical capability, and professional discipline.
