ENERCON is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Management Coordinator to support our Construction Manager and project teams in effectively managing tools and materials. This site-based role is crucial to ensuring smooth operations on active projects, with some responsibilities requiring on-site presence at our Boucherville facility. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, advise clients and contractors, and maintain accurate inventory levels of ENERCON tools and materials, contributing to the efficiency and success of our on-site operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Supervisor with on-site activities and provide operational assistance.
- Advise clients and contractors on tooling and materials at the project site.
- Attend meetings related to material orders and manage on-site inventory.
- Oversee handovers of tooling and materials between ENERCON and customers/contractors.
- Maintain accurate SAP inventories by following the material management process, ensuring stock optimization.
- Track and organize material orders, transport, on-site inventory, and back shipping.
- Assess and adjust tool inventory annually to meet project requirements.
- Monitor and assemble tool kits, addressing needs proactively.
- Provide tooling support to project managers to help meet deadlines and reduce costs.
- Participate in regular training on wind turbine installation tools and relevant software.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for material management processes.
- Operate forklifts and zoom booms with proficiency.
- Perform rigging and inspect lifting equipment and PPE for safety.
- Create tool lists, assemble tool kits, and assist the warehouse team during the off-season.
- Handle additional related tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Education in Electro-mechanics, Mechanics, or Electricity.
- Experience on construction or installation sites, ideally with wind turbines (preferably ENERCON).
- Certifications in forklift and zoom boom operation, rigging, and lifting equipment/PPE inspection.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; knowledge of Lotus Notes is an asset.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment.
