About the Role
To strengthen our project team in South Korea, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to support the successful execution of wind farm projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality standards, and supporting project delivery from early civil works through to turbine installation.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage wind farm construction sites, supporting the client during the execution of access roads, crane platforms, and foundation works up to wind turbine installation
- Support the implementation and monitoring of occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors (client and internal) and ensure project execution in line with company standards
- Perform quality assurance activities, site inspections, and acceptance of completed civil and electrical works
- Provide continuous reporting to the internal Project Manager
- Monitor installation and cabling works of wind energy converters
- Support the client and internal project teams in preparing and conducting authority inspections
- Assist in contract and claim management in cooperation with the commercial department
- Work in a regional (APAC) role with frequent business travel
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Strong technical understanding and high sense of responsibility
- Confident, proactive, and team-oriented personality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of flexibility, mobility, and willingness to travel internationally
- Experience in project management, ideally within the wind energy industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Valid driving license for Korea
