As Health & Safety Officer, you will manage and coordinate all HSE aspects in the Service organization Croatia, audit and track the status of implementation of HSE in Service, and report to the HSE Director on the performance in completing the actions. 

This position provides coaching and guidance to the Service Leader & Managers and teams and encourage them to develop and improve the HSE standards in the responsible region.

 

Your Tasks

• Completion and maintain a country specific HSE management system for the branch

• Supervise the implementation of ENERCON HSE processes the country

• Compile the necessary HSE information for tenders

• Maintain an effective working relationship and dialogue with HSE staff (including local authorities, subcontractors and consultancy companies) for guidance; follow up and alignment on HSE related activities

• Establish working relationships with ENERCON service organization, After Sales and support organizations to ensure consistency

• Analyze HSE reports: gather and report data on HSE performance (metrics), plan execution, audit corrective actions and incidents

• Prepare communications (i.e. alerts) to disseminate incidents, lessons learned and best practices

• Attend meetings with the customer, when required

• Support procurement teams in the qualification processes for subcontractors’ approval (HSE topics) and perform HSE audits to subcontractors

• Support that required regulatory permits are acquired, that reports are submitted to regulatory agencies, and that permit conditions (e.g. recordkeeping) are being met

• Country specific adjustment and updating of method statements and risk assessments

Support developing the health and safety plan for the projects and MCR

Engage in accident / incident investigations

 

Your Qualifications:

•              Engineering or technical degree with recognized local qualification in health, safety & the environment

  • More than 2 years of professional experience in HSE in the wind industry
  • Able to develop, implement and evaluate HSE tools, processes and systems
  • Computer based systems and software
  •  English verbal/written communication skills (fluent)
  • Independent and structured way of working in international  environment
  • Team-oriented
  • Willingness to travel
  • Driving license category B
