Grid Operations Coordinator

ENERCON Canada is seeking a Grid Operations Coordinator to provide real-time technical support to wind turbine maintenance and commissioning technicians, with a focus on enhancing the safety, quality, and efficiency of service activities for ENERCON wind turbines' High Voltage class A (HV) switchgear equipment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills for conveying technical information and possess strong electrical expertise with HV equipment (medium voltage, transformers, switching, and protection devices). You will participate in all departmental meetings and projects related to the review of work instructions and continuous improvement of procedures.

Your responsibilities:
- Oversee operations on HV grid equipment at wind farms.
- Track and maintain a detailed history of interventions on HV equipment.
- Act as a technical expert for maintenance and installation technicians on HV systems.
- Draft, review, and recommend work instructions for HV grid systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of fault resolution processes and alert management for HV systems.
- Ensure compliance with work instructions (TSIs) for HV equipment.
- Develop and validate planned work procedures for HV grid systems.
- Provide status reports on transformers, circuit breakers, and other HV equipment.
Your qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and operation of HV electrical grid equipment.
- Solid knowledge of electrical standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Fluent in both English and French, written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Experience presenting technical information to various audiences, including executives and employees.
- Proactive, meticulous, curious, and autonomous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Focused on customer service and teamwork.
- Willing to travel occasionally within Canada and to Germany (up to 6 weeks per year).
- Proficient in applicable software: SAP, MS Office.
